Just got back from our Oregon trip – pics will show up in a photo album here soon. We started with two days of sun, during which we all got sunburned, and then we itched for 5 more days under the clouds. Ah well, that’s the Oregon coast – very unpredictable. But we had a good time as usual. Fun bikes and castle building in Manzanita, rides and a paddle boat in Seaside, Tillamook County Fair for the girls and I, ATV riding at Sand Lake for Alec and I, a road trip through the Three Capes, shopping in Cannon Beach, kite flying, and lots of hot tub time. Mabel and I didn’t manage to get through as much book editing as we’d hoped. But we managed to relax quite a bit, which was the main goal, of course.
